I absolutely love the baggy cotton harem overalls in green, blue, and red with the circle grommet strap closures. As someone who typically wears a 16-18, I find these overalls super comfortable for lounging at home or tackling chores. When paired with a crop top and the right accessories, they transform into a stylish and effortlessly cool outfit. The baggy fit provides great coverage, making them perfect for concealing a tummy, while the thick, high-quality material and subtle stitch embellishments ensure they don’t look cheap or flimsy like some wrinkly polyester pieces. Plus, the extra-large pockets are a game-changer—you can easily fit a six-pack in them! That said, be careful with the variations in this listing. The denim and denim/corduroy versions are NOT the same fit as the cotton ones — they run about 8 inches smaller in the waist and lack the flattering, relaxed drape of the cotton style. If you’re looking for something that hides a lower belly or FUPA, these won’t do the job, as the crotch isn’t even a true harem drop. For plus-size ladies, I highly recommend the cotton versions with the grommet strap closures, but I’d steer clear of the denim alternatives if you want the same comfortable, roomy fit.

The straps are plenty long, allowing me to tie them securely with room to spare, which I prefer over fixed buttonholes that might not align with my needs. For those wondering about bathroom convenience, it’s actually quite simple—just slide the straps off your shoulders, sit down, and let them rest on your lap. Trust me, as a hippie from the ’70s onward, I’ve worn plenty of overalls in various styles, and this method has never failed me. My first-ever pair of overalls came from a feed store in the ’70s, and even back then, getting the right torso length was a challenge. To avoid camel toe (a term I don’t think existed back then), I always adjusted the straps to the very last hemline hole, making them longer than usual — which was actually the fashion back in the day. They tended to drag on the ground, fray, and wear out at the heels, but that was part of the cool, lived-in aesthetic. Speaking of long pants, writing this just reminded me of a time when I tripped over my extra-long jeans and went flying face-first into the floor. I swear my nose made contact before anything else, resulting in a massive nosebleed that seemed like it would never stop — and, to this day, I have a permanently crooked nose as a souvenir.
